Lake Community
The 1,000-acre Spring Lake housing development is a 4,000-home
project generally east of Highway 113 and south of Gibson
Road. Schools, retail centers and parks will be part of
the new suburban area expected to be developed over the
next 10 years.

southeast side.
4037 total residential units: 2866 single-family, 1171 apartments.
11 acres of commercial development.
282 acres of college, high school, elementary and county schools.
28 acres of neighborhood parks.
34-acre sport park with ball fields and other amenities.
Additional acres of greenbelts are designed throughout
the community in the bike and jogging trails, and
five-acres of passive open space adjacent to a drainage
pond.
Spring Lake is located south of the new Pioneer
High School and Woodland Community College.
There are currently 400 out of the 1000 acres being
developed and graded for utilities, street formation,
and lot identifications. This work will continue into
September along County Road 102.
